My Tomodachis was born from a deeply personal experience. I know firsthand the pain of loneliness and depression, feelings that can sometimes seem impossible to overcome. There was a time when I felt completely alone, struggling in silence. Then, one day, my childhood friend unexpectedly visited me with a small but meaningful gift—two crocheted plushies, a cat and a dog, that reminded me of my beloved childhood pets. In that moment, I was reminded of the warmth of friendship, the power of human connection, and the simple joys that make life worth living. That gift helped bring me back from a dark place, and I realized that sometimes, all we need is a small reminder that we are not alone.

Inspired by this experience, I created My Tomodachis to do the same for others—to bring warmth, companionship, and hope through our plushies. Each plushie is designed with love, created to be a comforting friend in times of need. Whether you are gifting one to a loved one or keeping one for yourself, our mission is to remind you that there is always someone who cares.
